Summer's dusk is fast approaching.
Soon the green of the leaves will fade
Red, orange and yellow they'll turn.
Then we'll know it's definitely Fall's dawn.

I have confirmed that I have been blessed with great friends.
Though distance may separate us,
our thoughts and memories keep us close.
I have also recognized that it's easy to attract dead weight.
Dead weight can stick to you as a magnet sticks to the refrigerator door.
It' s best that once you start feeling bloated to shake and shake and shake.
If the dead weight is not a tic, you might just be lucky to feel a bit lighter.

There is an Almighty.
He spoke to me recently and I heeded his word.
I also headed further North on my first road trip.
I was most astounded at its success.

You Cannot Trick Mama

David invite sa mère à dîner.

Remarquant que la colocataire de David, Sarah, est très jolie, elle tente de savoir si son fils et elle ne sont que des colocataires... David lui affirme  que Sarah et lui ne sont que des amis.

Une semaine plus tard, Sarah dit a David :
" Depuis que ta mère est venue dîner, je ne trouve plus la louche en  argent. C'est bizarre.."

" Je vais lui envoyer un petit  mot ", dit David.

" Chère Maman, La vérité, je ne dis pas que tu as pris la louche et je ne   dis pas que tu ne l'as pas prise, mais elle a disparue depuis ta dernière visite.   Je t'embrasse très fort. Ton fils
David.. "

Quelques jours plus tard, David reçoit une lettre de sa mère :
" Cher fils, Je ne dis pas que tu couches avec Sarah et je ne dis pas  que tu ne couches pas avec Sarah, mais si Sarah couchait dans son lit, vous  auriez retrouvé la louche. Je
t'embrasse fort. Maman chérie "
